Anyone planning on seeing this? I went yesterday afternoon and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. It's like a "Princess Diaries" type movie. Just wanted to know if anyone else has seen it and what they thought of it

i want to see it, only because Meg Cabot (who is infact the author of princess diaries), my favorite author other then jkrowling, wrote the screen play. Is it good?

I really liked it. But then I'm a 26-year-old who loves those kind of movies :D Princess Diaries is one of my favorites

Ahem... Mrs. SM and I were also thinking about going to see this movie. We also enjoy Disney family movies, I think I like them more than she does  . It's not uncommon for me to put in a DVD of "Princess Diaries", "Parent Trap" (original), "Swiss Family Robinson" or any of the "Disney Treasures" on a Sunday afternoon while I work :D .

This hasn't been advertised in the UK yet (or at least I don't think it has) what is it about??

It's about a girl named Casey who is a science geek. For a physics project she studies figure skaters in her town to see if she can break down their moves to a formula. She then applies the formula to herself. It follows the basic "tween" formula for movies but does it really well. Kim Catrell and Joan Cusack are awesome in it.

I'd like to see it--but I'll be lucky if I manage that when it's released on video!

I took Princess Baleigh to see it on Friday...we BOTH loved it...I agree Cusak and Catrell played great rolls. I've also enjoyed reading about how hard Trachtenberg (sp?) trained for this part. Apparently, she'd really never even been on skates!

It was a really good movie, already on my "to buy" list when it comes to DVD.
