OK - strange question. My daughter has just started walking and will be ready for her first proper walking shoes in a few weeks time - which coincides with our trip to Orlando.
Can anyone recommend a good children's shoe shop - equivalent to Clarks in the UK - where they sell shoes in different widths and check they fit properly - we would expect to pay £25 - £30 in the UK which equates to $50 or so but I suspect with the good exchange rate they will not be so expensive.
Thanks

i have bought shoes in stride rite stores for my kids in the US - about the same price in dollars as in pounds. (£25 here =$25 there) there is one in the premium outlet mall.

Stride Rite or Buster Brown (but I can't begin to think of where there is a BB in Orlando). Stride Rite will be the closest to WDW, given it's Premium Outlet mall location that Britchick has stated.
Otherwise, there are some lovely children's shops in the Mall at Millenia.

I just want to say that I love stride rite and they now carry the cutest Merrill's for youngsters (although not for as little as a new walker).

Can I just check - in the UK the outlet stores do to fit/measure children's shoes - you have to do all the size checking yourself.
Is this the same in the US?

I haven't been in the Stride rite outlet store. I know in the regular store they size you.

I'm sure i saw a branch of Clarks in the Florida Mall last week, but as i am male and not the family shopper, i may have been mistaken.
