I wonder if anyone out there does scrapbooking? I have been thinking about having a go but i am not very creative at all and to be quite honest haven't got a clue where to start. Ive looked at some web sites but it seems to be people who have been doing it for ages.
I want to put some of my disney things into it as a keepsake but i just don't know where to go with it. I am in the UK and any info help or advice would be appreciated
:thanks:

Well the first place to start is with an album :) I'm partial to Creative Memories albums myself, but there are many types out there. one of the more commen types are the top loading post-type
The first rule of thumb is to be sure that all of the products you use are acid free. You do not want anything damaging your photos!

Scrapbook stores are popping up everywhere, you should be able to find a store near you. I would suggest just going in and browsing. There are so many things to buy. I'm a sticker person, myself.

As JM mentioned, you'll want to be sure your album and all supplies are acid-free. That includes paper, inks, adhesives and embellishments.
If you have a large craft store near you, they are likely to have a sizable section devoted to memory books. There are a number of publications (magazines and books) available in the U.S., so I imagine you have similar ones in the U.K.
QVC in the U.S. offers scrapbooking kits, which are a nice way to start. You might want to check their U.K. website to see if they offer something similar there.
You can make your memory books as simple or as elaborate as you like. Use a single piece of paper per page and journal or layer papers and embellishments on the page. It's personal preference. :)

I'm not very creative either but there are lots of things to help you. there are templates you can buy to help you design pages and tons of sample layouts you can look at on the net. The bestr thing to do is just start one. I made nine of them for the parents in my mom's daycare for Christmas presents. It was a lot of fun and once i got in the mindset to do it the ideas just flowed. now I'm hooked.

I've always wanted to have a go, but i'm not sure where to start. Do you write in it too or just put pics? Does anyone want to show us a sample of something they've done pretty please? :D

I've been scrapping for years and it's taken me this long to collect all the components that go along with this hobby. The photo printer I got for Christmas was icing on the cake for me!
Just remember to not let it get to you...sometimes I draw blank as to what I want to do with a certain page. Don't glue until your sure you're happy with what you have.
It's a fun hobby and a great way to give gifts! I've given away Baby Photo albums, wedding albums, anniversary albums...people love them...I think cos they didn't have to do all the work themselves!!
