I am off to the Marriott Village (Springfield Suites) in October with husband and 3 kids. Can anyone give me any idea of what the hotel is like and particularly what I can expect from the transport to the parks?
Thanks

I've read lots of good things about all 3 hotels in the Marriott Village, Sue.
We're going to be at the Marriott Village Courtyard Oct 20th - 31st, all 3 hotels share facilities so we may bump into one another if you're there then

Thanks Wendy. Looks like we will be there at the same time! We go on the 16th October for 2 weeks. Last time we went to WDW we stayed onsite so I'm a bit unsure what to expect but I think that thiese hotelsall look excellent! Fingers crossed anyway...

We actually got a peak at the village last year when we were trying to find the Staybridge Suites. We really liked the location , and there's a Bahama Breeze restaurant close by which comes highly recommended.....even within walking distance if you want a few drinks in the bar :D

We stayed there in 05/03. It was a nice hotel. The pool was very nice but very very cold. Half of the pool is outdoors the other half is indoors. A waterfall seperates the two. The room was nice size. The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't clean the rooms until late in the afternoon. Sometimes as late as 4:00pm. Not good when you have a 2 year old trying to take a nap. They have some little shops there and plenty of restaurants near by. Bahama Breeze, some Ryan's style steak house and a few others. You're also pretty close to Downtown Disney. Overall it was nice, but nothing like staying on the grounds. Hope this helps.:)
