Grand Floridian and AKL help please

I know it is a long way off but I am a obsessive planner.

Can someone help me with room locations at AKL and GF?

At AKL we will have Savannah View rooms.

At GF Garden View rooms.

Are there better rooms than others to ask about at check....I don't plan to fax or call as I haven't had much luck with this in the past.

Almost the entire AKL is encompassed by the Savannah, so basically your room could be anywhere that doesn't overlook the parking lot or woods. As far as Garden View at the GF there are several different buildings, each of which offers Garden Views on one side or the other so without knowing which building it is difficult to pinpoint.

Brenda, I can`t help with the rooms at AKL as we have never stayed there.

As far as the GF is concerned, my DW and I always book a garden view room and at check in, we ask for a room in building 5 [Sago Cay], and specifically a room overlooking the marina.

This is a reasonably quiet area away from the pool etc. and yet it is close to the main building and Gasparillos 24 hour snack bar.
Also, there is a nifty exit from the resort to the parking lot and bus stop close by [it`s the one which the CM`s use when they arrive for duty] so that you don`t have to walk through the main building every time you come and go from the resort.

I do believe I'm beginning to feel just a tiny bit envious, Brenda! I'm looking at a value resort in December, 2006! Can't complain too much, though. I really enjoyed PC last December! :)
