Thanks Joanne...I love being able to see menus before I go, it makes it easier to decide where to go...so many restaurants, so little time! It's a good thing I don't live closer:blush:

Thanks for the menu's for AS movies Joanne,
What a great idea just one question.....how up to date are the prices listed? I note that Isabelle had sent in the menu ...does anyone know whether the menu has changed since she visited?
Thanks in advance :)

The main menu page has the dates that the menus relate to. The All Star Movies menus were sent to Joanne around 11/01 - November 2001. They will be updated if someone can provide a more current menu, but even the older menus can give you an idea of the sort of food and prices to expect when you visit.

We have a child with celiac diesease which i will not bore you with the details but in a nut shell she has alot of food restrictions i email WDW and got the following info -
The chefs in the full service resturants are happy to provide you with the ingredients but also how they are prepared (what oil is used ect) it is possible to prepare items for specific dietary needs you must ofcourse CALL AHEAD for PS and let them know what the restrictions are.
Any questions you can call the executive chefs-
MK 407-824-5967
EP 407-560-7292
MGM 407- 5601347
AK 407-939-7536
there was no phone numbers for the different resorts but i am sure they could direct your call if you called any of the above phone numbers
The fast food locations are not going to be able to fix your meals with your specific needs as they are just an assmbly line type of service
Hope this helps!! You can find out just whatr is in that cheese soup!

Thanks for the info. Joanne. Do you have a link to restaurants that are closed seasonally?
On our last trip we went out of our way to try and get several special treats like Pecos Bills, Canada's Beaver Tails and Chip and Dales Cookie Cabin only to find they were "closed for the season".
This coming trip we are still interested in all of the above plus Aunt Polly's Dockside but I think I remember this is one that closes.
We are traveling Sept. 28 - Oct 3 Can you assist?

Hi  and :welcome: to the boards.
You need to call disney dining on 407 WDW DINE and request a priority seating for Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom to dine with Pooh and friends.

Hi, I could recommend Emerils, Jimmy Buffet's Margheritaville and some of the restaurants out and around 192 also known as Irlo Bronson Hwy..all kinds of things out there...most pretty good..maybe not the Ponderosa tho...not exactly stellar...good luck

Margaritaville is awesome (Esp. if you're a Parrothead). If you're looking for non-park places, some of my favorite chains are Sweet Tomatoes and Olive Garden

I'm going to Chef Mickey's for my 24th birthday and am wondering what kinds of things to expect. Can anyone maybe give me a few hints please? I'm really really excited as this is my family's first trip to WDW since 1993 when we went to Disneyland. Should I take a camera?

You'll definitely want a camera. Be prepared for a lot of noise and napkin twirling. Haven't done dinner here, only breakfast. But we enjoy the fun.

I'm heading down to the World with my friend and her parents in a couple weeks and we are staying off site so we won't be getting a dinning plan. Does anyone have any suggestions of lower budget restaurants on Disney that we could possibly hit once or twice during our stay? I can't imagine a Disney trip without the food!! :eat:

I'm new to DW - I know - I know!!
However can anyone tell me if you can eat at the Disney hotels if you are not a guest? If so do you have to book?
Any info is useful

You can dine at any of the Disney restaurants no matter where you are staying. ADRs (Disney's version of reservations) are recommended for all table service restaurants. It's difficult to be seated if you just walk up to a restaurant podium these days, as dining can be booked up to 180 days prior to your visit (up to 2 years for some venues). Might be possible if you're traveling off season and dine at off-peak times.
The number to call is 800 WDW-DINE (800 939-3463). There may be another number our UK members can call, but I'm not sure.
Restaurants located in parks require park admission; those in resorts, Boardwalk or DTD don't.
