Thinking about staying here - has anyone stayed here - is it near to any restaurants - are the rooms ok

I haven't stayed there yet but will be there in October. I believe Bahama Breeze is very close by and Crossroads ( with various restaurants) is close by too. It shares facilities with Springhill Suites and Fairfield Inn, so has a good choice in the Food Court which serves all 3 Hotels. We drove past this complex last year and liked its location and have heard all good things about the rooms and service. :)

We stayed there in 05/03. It was a nice hotel. The pool was very nice but very very cold. Half of the pool is outdoors the other half is indoors. A waterfall seperates the two. The room was nice size. The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't clean the rooms until late in the afternoon. Sometimes as late as 4:00pm. Not good when you have a 2 year old trying to take a nap. They have some little shops there and plenty of restaurants near by. Bahama Breeze, some Ryan's style steak house and a few others. You're also pretty close to Downtown Disney. Overall it was nice, but nothing like staying on the grounds. Hope this helps.
