i've heard about virtual magic kingdome. I think it is very inetersting and as well as enjoyable specially for kids.i've a little idea about it.

My dd is a VMK addict, we had to cut her time down to 2hrs a day. She started living on there.

I have to say I am really sad! This is the last day of VMK and my kids and I have had so much fun collecting things and playing the games on here for almost 2 years!

It was so nice when you needed a Disney fix to sit with my kids and walk around VMK. And the best part was visiting VMK central in Magic Kingdom and collecting cards with virtual items, and the quests.

VMK will be missed by this family in NJ!

OMG, my 14 year old daughter was near tears tonight. She has been playing as much as i will possibly let her get online the last couple weeks knowing it's coming to an end. Every night she talks about how sad it is, that people are giving their stuff away & they are all so sad. I feel bad for her :( Wish they'd offer it up as a pay service.

I agree.....I would totally pay for a place that is safe but gives my kids (and myself) so much enjoyment! I just don't know why they don't feel this was a great thing, connecting Disney and home!

Hopefully they have something up there sleeves along the same lines.

yeah, i feel like if they would charge something nominal, like $5 a month, look how many parents would pay that for their kids & themselves & it would allow them enough money to pay the workers that is required to keep a site like that up & running.

I would even pay up to $15 a month. Or like the toon town game 70 for the year. Anythings better then just getting rid of it.

I'm still sad for the kids! However, my daughter and I did make a fairy on the fairy game!

I suspect it's closer to the truth that someone just forgot to take it out of the busses videos in time :( but never know. Bit sad though since it was a decent length advert and I saw a few people take down the web address

I totally forgot about the last day... I wasn't a regular but it was a cool place to visit when I needed a disney 'fix'. My brother made some friends and was a bit sad when it closed.

It's a shame that they have decided to close, I know lots of people who would be willing to pay to plat the game.

When we were in Disney last May we did all the Quests, and got a ton of cards with virtual merchandise. Even bought a pirate one with a pin. I separated them into 3 piles, one for each kid, (there was maybe 15 cards for each kid). My middle guy couldn't remember where he put his so he didn't put the codes in. Would you believe I found them the other day when I was spring cleaning! Just in time for us not to be able to use them! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
