We just booked a week at Vacation Village at Parkway through RCI. Does anyone have experience with this resort?

We toured it as part of a timeshare pitch last year when we were down there and it looked pretty nice. Just curious to get opinions of anyone that spent more time there.

I do remember that it was pretty close to Disney - which is a BIG plus!

Airfare, tickets, and early morning attempts to secure breakfast with the Princesses are next on the list . . . .

We stayed there in Feb. What type of unit did you get? All are 1 bedroom units but the one with the full kitchen has a jacuzzi and is MUCH larger. We were told we were getting that one when we booked with RCI. However, when we got there, we got the small 1 br with partial kitchen. I was not happy.

I was able to upgrade for $50 and RCI credited $50 to my account with them. The condo was very nice. However, parking was atrocious. We had to park far away every night. I've not ever had a problem with any other condo like that.

We booked the larger side. I confirmed that about 10 times during the booking. Hopefully they will assign us correctly! I'm looking forward to the jacuzzi tub each night after the parks! :)

Bummer about parking. We'll have little legs with us that will be tired from all the walking in the parks. :(

The jacuzzi was WONDERFUL!!! That was a nice treat each night :)

There is a central entrance into the building. If there is another adult, they could let you and the "little legs" :) off at the door and park. It may have been the time of year we went too. There were a lot of older folks there and they all seemed to be in for the night by 6pm :)

Great idea about the drop-off. :) I'll definitely have to make use of that strategy. DH can drop us off and then go park.

Glad to hear that the jacuzzi is as good as it sounds!!

Did you use the pool at all? Just wondering what it's like. We will spend the majority of our week at the parks, but maybe an early evening back with a trip to the pool.

Thanks for your input! :)

We didn't use the pool...sorry. It looked nice though. We had a great view of the kids play area and some grills.

The main building has an exercise room, video arcade and there is free internet access there as well.

It's in a good location and didn't take long to get to Disney. Arabian Nights is right next door.
