AAA Questions

I have heard you can get some really good deals @ WDW with AAA. I would like to hear others opinions who currently use and have used AAA. I'm thinking of joining especially for this trip in October and want to save the most money I can. Is it good on airfare? Also, we are going to be using the new transportation from Disney from the airport and thought we may want to use a car for 1 or 2 days, can we rent one on site pretty cheap?

I can tell you that I had booked a week at Fort Wilderness Cabins for this October and the rate was $311 a night! I saw some posts about AAA so called and now our room rate is $274 a night so $37 a night times 8 nights we are saving $296 dollars! I think the rate for us to sign up is $105 so we are still saving plus we will have the auto coverage and trip planner both we need and are quite nice. We have another auto club at the moment and when it runs out we will get the AAA. You can book your room without the card but you will have to show it upon check in. I think I had to make a new rsvp not just switch it on an aldready exsisting rsvp. Hope this helps!

We also use AAA on room only bookings, the average discount is 15% off rack rate. :)

before you commit to it i would call and see if you can get the discount for AAA, they only allow so many rooms at those rates and join AAA if you can. :thumbs:
