How hot/humid will it be in early June? We're going June 2-14. My DH keeps saying how he went in the summer (doesn't remember what month) and it was unbearably hot. I'm just trying to prepare a little for DD (she'll turn 16m while we're there). We got her a little fan to hold in the stroller, and plan on leaving the park around noon to go to our hotel for lunch and a nap. Any other ideas on how to keep her (and us) cool?

Well unpredictable Orlando and all that :) so past performance not an indicator to future BUT everytime we've been in June it's been unbearably hot yep :(
I mean... you have air con in all the buildings so that's fine! you have those fans which can blow water on you which is great too..
...but yeah prepare for being hot, use lots of sun lotion, drink a lot of water even when you don't necessarily feel like you need it and take frequent rests/stops in the nice air conditioned buildings

Here you will find the average temperatures for June:
WDW - Daily Average Temperatures for June (http://www.weather.com/weather/climatology/daily/32830?climoMonth=6)
And yes, June is very hot and humid. But if you are prepared it should be ok. The fan idea is great  , drink lots of water even if not thirsty, little sips every few minutes, highest water-proof sun block you can find, look for shades when walking around.
I'm guessing you are staying at a Disney resort. Taking a break in the afternoon is also a great idea  .

We've been there a couple of times toward the end of your trip and didn't find the weather to be too unbearable.

Wow, like 90 degrees on average every day that I will be down for 2 weeks. Is the sun extremely strong on the sunburn issue?

Josette you definitely need to take a VERY GOOD suntan lotion. At least SPF 30.

We stuck with the "parks in the mornings and evenings, pool/nap time in the afternoons" June last year and it worked well for us. Not unbearable when prepared for. :)
The rain tended to be late afternoon which was great for clearing the parks and having easy access to the rides.

Yes in June the weather is very hot and not to humid to me but that kinda depends on where you live! Yes you will want to bring one of those water bottle fan things they come in very handy!!!!Well good luck on your trip and I might see you down there!!I leave June 7-14!! Epcot is the best park to hang out in on very hot days becuase of all the interactive stuff they have inside buildings. Well good luck!

A friend of mine who lives in Orlando told me that it's been quite rainy lately.. I'm not overly worried though, I see it as 'cooling off' and I intend to carry on with my days as usual =]

Definately make sure you use lots of Sun Lotion - with a very high SPF!
When the heat gets too much for you pop into a shop or an indoor attraction - nice and cool with the air conditioning!
We're also big fans of afternoon naps and swimming when it gets really hot. The heat and humidity is less in the morning and evening time :)
Fans that also spray water are really good too - DS swore by one of these on the last trip, it kept him cooler!
