We haven't stayed off property, but I did a search on tripadvisor.com and it looks really nice. Had good reviews. :thumbs:

There is no doubt that they are beautiful resorts :yes: . Extremely upscale. Here is their website:

Grande Lakes (http://www.grandelakes.com/)

They are located at the intersection of Central Florida Parkway and John Young Parkway. Very easy to get to I-4, just take Central Florida Parkway west. You'll go by SeaWorld and Discovery Cove on your way to I-4. You will also go through the Central Florida Parkway and International Drive intersection. If you take it north, it will take you to the main resturants and businesses, Belz Factory Outlet is at the north end of I-Drive. If you take it south it will take you to the Orlando Premium Outlets.

Here is an aerial showing the resort during construction, the site is huge. That community you see on the left of the construction area is where I live. Grande Lakes has incredible fireworks displays during New Year and July 4th. For the last two years we have stayed in and together with our neighbors we have watched the fireworks show from the end of the street :yes: .

The whole Grand Lakes property is wonderful.

It's not near anything though. But travel to attractions is easy via 417 or Beeline.
