Hi - both my son and daughter love the water..... if I could only take them to one water park which would you recomend....they will be 13 an 9 by the time we go...

If it was me I'd go with Typhoon Lagoon. If they are into big slides then Blizzard Beach might be better.

i think they would love the pool better in TL, but the slides in BB, overall i prefer TL because of the wavepool :D

Personally, we love TL for the wave pool and ketchikidee creek (sp?) for the little ones, but older kids may prefer the bigger slides at BB? :) There are plenty of slides at TL though and I love the lazy river, so TL wins for me :D

We love TL because we all like the pool and it is abit more relaxing but the kids (13,12,10) prefer BB coz they love the big slides

me too paula i think TL is fantastic and go round the lazt river for ages :D so relaxing, also the new atraction, crush n gusher is there too :wink:

Coming in Spring 2005 to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Waterpark, Hideaway Bay, a whole new themed area of the park home to the star attraction Crush N Gusher. Powered by water jets up steep inclines and down sharp drops travel through the jungle, this Master Blaster attraction will feature 3 different "spillways" for 3 times the excitement. :woohoo: sounds superb :D

I really liked Blizzard Beach because there was a lot more to do than Tl. :)

We love Typhoon Lagoon! There's definately lots to do for the family - the wave pool is a great fun!

The family's personal fave is the Lazy Creek - we spend hours in there going round and round! :wink:

Also if you're looking for a bit of a thrill, even though Blizzard Beach has more of the daring rides, you have the new Crush n Gusher water roller coaster at Typhoon Lagoon :D

I'm a BB fan the slides are better but the crush and gusher at TL has made the choice more difficult!

For me it's BB by far. for me, with knee problems, I've found the wave pool at TL dangerous and the slides there are no where as much fun as BB :D
