hi mrs t, my dd stayed here in 2002 while we stayed next door at holiday in express,it is straight across road from wet and wild, also bennigans, ponderosa and sizzler are all across road as well as some gift shops, there is a small supermarket next door and hotel its self has a pub and small shop, its a nice hotel in a great location, it also does shuttles to the parks. hope this helps.:micbounce :micbounce :micbounce
:overhere: the hotel is nice , the rooms are a good size , comfortable and very clean, the housekeeping do a good job, and the hotel staff were very friendly, there is a little shop for odds and ends if you need it , but the hotel is within easy walking distance to lots of shops , we used to walk to a nearby pharmacy and buy rolls and drinks to take with us to the parks. Can't comment on the pool as it was Christmas and far too cold to swim, but it looked Ok not huge but I should think it would be big enough in the summer http://www.wdisneyw.com/ubb/biggrin.gif There are also lots of places to eat that you can stroll too, and crossing the road is easy !!LOL
I hope I'm giving you good info . it was 5 years ago that we were there, I would stay there again based on our visit in 1999/2000,

We've just come back from staying on International Drive, and we thought how nice the Best Western looked. It was right opposite all the good (cheap) eating places and the grounds and building looked nice and clean. We actually are thinking about staying there next time as it is so central.

We stayed at the best western plaza on i drive last year it was excellent, only thing that let it down was the shuttle service, but the rooms were clean and tidy, location and staff were great, we would highly recommend it if you are driving or can put up with the shuttle or use taxis
