Ramada Inn Resort Eastgate Kissimee

Hi, we're travelling out to Kissimee next month and was wondering if anyone had any information on the hotel we're staying at, it's the Ramada Inn Resort Eastgate. We've read a few really bad reviews about it, and a few not so bad ones. Being a 2* we're not expecting luxury but any information would be greatly appreciated.

We're first timers to Florida and haven't arranged car hire, is it easy to get about from here, we were hoping to make a trip up to I-Drive as well as to all the parks.

I have never stayed at this particular Ramada Inn. But in my lifetime of travels I used to stay at Ramada frequently, while avoiding Holiday Inn like the plague. Now however, IMHO, Holiday has upgraded tremendously while Ramada continues to go down hill. This one does have the "resort" tag on it so maybe it will be better than just a normal Ramada Inn. We stayed in this resort a couple of years ago and we found it to be fine. The rooms were clean and the pool area was great for the children. We got a really silly price from Travel City Direct and had a great time, it only took us about 5 mins to get to Disney, so I would say go and have a great time !.

Thank you! I'm so relieved to here someone say that! The reviews are saying about dead bugs in the rooms etc etc.

Not that we'll be spending much time in the hotel itself, too much to do to be wasting time in a hotel.

Did u have a car when you stayed? Do u know if it's easy to get about without one?
