Just a quick but very simple tip.

Security Checks at Park Entrances

If you need to take items with you into the parks ( as we did - youngster still in nappies etc) or for drinks, snacks whatever - to speed up your entry purchase either a clear plastic rucksack or a rucksack made from netting, therefore see through. This will save time at entry, as security guards will make you open and pull out your belongings before entering the park. Persons with clear bags, or bags where items are easily seen within are more or less waved through.

'If everybody did this, then there would be no queues at security...' a security guard said to us - on more than one occasion.

Good tip! I've seen people with clear backpacks or purses practically zip through security!

I had a clear backpack. Going through security was no problem at all.

And if you don't have a clear backpack PLEASE unzip all bags before you get to the security check. This goes for camera bags, backpacks, fannypacks, etc. Anything with a zipper. Some people have bags inside of bags and they ALL need to be unzipped!!

The boyfriend and I probably wont take bags into the parks, we might keep a bottle of water in our pockets, but we dont usually take bags into Disneyland Paris, so I dont imagine we will in WDW.
