To Joe Grant, a talented artist and story man for Walt Disney, who died May 6 at the age of 96. He designed the Queen and the Wicked Witch for "Snow White". He also worked on "Pinocchio", "Fantasia", "Dumbo" and many of Disney's other early projects. He also contributed ideas to "Aladdin", "The Lion King", "Pocahontas" and "Hercules", and "Fantasia 2000", along with coming up with the title for "Monsters, Inc". And he didn't give up after all that wonderful work. He was busy working at the Disney Studios the day before he died.
Joe, your talents will be missed, but we are fortunate that your legacy will live on for many years to come in the wonderful stories and characters that you helped create.
