great tip if you have kids

if you have small children and you want them to stay awake on the car ride home ask each one what their favorite ride/thing of the day was. ask them how they felt when they saw it, when they were on it, and after it. if this isn't enough to take up the time, make it into a game and quiz them on eachother's favorite. this will keep them interested and awake long enough to get to your hotel.
my parents did this with us, and not only did it keep us awake, but it was a great memory. hope this helps!:D

But I want mine to go to sleep. She is less cranky if she has at least a two hour nap. It takes 2 days to get to Disney, and that is staying overnight at a motel.
