Is there any type of convenience store on Disney property to purchase snack foods, etc., or would we find those things in the food courts?
Thanks for any info!

I believe that every resort has one.

Disney doesn't have convenience stores per se, rather a limited selection of snack, dairy, bakery, beverages and refrigerator items. Some resorts have a larger (but by no means large) selection. The DVC resorts all have a larger selection.
The items are usually tucked up in a corner of one of the resort shops. I don't know of any resort that has a separate shop dedicated to just those sorts of items, not even the DVC resorts.

As already mentioned, all resorts have a small selection of items, milk, juices, bread, butter, cheese, sliced sandwich meats, a few fruits, cereal, yogurt.
Which resort are you staying at? Are you going to have a car? Let us know and we'll direct you to the nearest grocery store.
Also, if you are not going to have a car, people I know have used netgrocer.com (http://www.netgrocer.com/) to have groceries delivered to their Disney hotel.
Hope this helps.

We're not going to have a car. We will be staying at the CBR. We actually received our plane tickets today! :D Thanks for all the help! I'll check out the netgrocer site.

There are HESS gas stations with convenience stores attached at WDW. There is one near DTD and one across from The Boardwalk Inn. I believe there is one at the Car Care Center, as well.
I didn't think to check what they carry or their prices, but Johnie and others have mentioned that their prices are better than those at the resorts. I would think they carry the usual soft drinks, bottled water, milk, snacks, with a limited selection of staples (bread, lunch meat, etc.). Possibly juice (most likely orange or apple).
Oddly enough, their gas prices were lower than those off site last December!
