I cannot believe how close we are to our Disney DREAM vacation. I have begun packing which brings me to the reason for this thread. Can somebody shed some light on the evening temperature. Are sweaters sufficiant or are light jackets better suited. Will we be needing long pants for the evenings as well. What is the average temperature at night? Do I pack flannel PJ's because of air conditioning at the resorts (we are staying at the Grand Floridian) or light jammies. Thanks in advance. :hehe: :p :wiggle:

Late May-Early June evening weather will be upper 70's, low 80's. A sweater will not be needed. Keep in mind that the AC in most places you eat will make it cool so I usually bring a light sweater with me ('Ohana was one of the coldest for me)

I'm always cold. I blame it on living in South Florida ;) I'm just fine sleeping in shorts and a t-shirt or tank top in the resorts since you control the temp of your room :D

I can't imagine you'll need anything other than shorts and tees coming from the great frozen north. :D

Flannel is not worth your time to pack!

The AC will be problematic if you get overheated (sweaty) and then have to sit for any length of time (like for a dinner). You may want something then. They nearly always have it too cold in restaurants, theatres and grocery shops.

Thanks JM. I am confused though, sweater or no sweater? You say both.

sweater for outdoors - not a chance. While dining, you may want one depending on how sensitive you are to the AC

A light sweater or very light jacket for over active-air conditioning in public places is handy. For light jacket, think poplin or lighter. Some type of light shawl or poncho would be fine, if that is what you prefer. It's just an extra light layer to ward off the chill from the A/C.

As 'Tink noted, you'll be able to control the temperature in your resort room. Or fight over the control! :hehe:

The temp will go down a little as the sun goes down about the mid 70s I would say and I feels just fine with a small breeze you may need a jacket though.
