? about leaving stroller outside when on attractions

I know that you have to leave your stroller parked outside when on attractions. My question is this. I will have a backpack on my stroller with stuff other than cash and park tickets. Will the bag be safe to stay with the stroller or am I allowed to carry the backpack with me? I'm sure some rides and attractions won't allow a backpack. Does anyone know? What do all of you mom and dads do?

We usualy trust most stuff to be left on the stroller but money and tickets /cameras etc we take with us - usually in a bum bag (fanny pack) that is portable and easy to take on rides without getting in the way

Same as us. Valuables came inside with us, everything else stayed with the stroller.

I carry around my backpack on all the rides, I guess it depends on how much you have in it.

I've taken my backpack on every ride. Not always comfy if it's a big bulky back pack (Space Mountain comes immediatly to mind) but you can do it. I get a little nervous about leaving things in the stroller at first every year but by a day or two into my trip I'm leaving lots of stuff in the buggy basket & I lover the seat down to make it difficult to do a quick swipe & go. I've never had anything bothered but you never know, there could be a bad apple anywhere these days.

Since I saw this thread I was thinking what are we going to do with a camcorder? I guess I would have to stuff it way in the back and have stuff in front. But just the thought of being so trusting makes me cringe....

I thought of that too... I think I will leave my camcorder in a locker for a while, then take it out for part of the day. :shrug:

Us too, if someone is going to steel a bag with wipes, kid snacks, etc in it then they need it more then me. ;)

You're right about bad apples Big Thunder. I'm the one who is worried. I know my DH will say just leave it and get mad at me when I put up a fuss. Oh well it's only sunscreen, hand wipes, change of kids clothes.

When we go on the rides we plan to do baby/child swap so we will just give our valuables to whoever comes off the ride first.

We tend to use a see through bag for leaving on the stroller with all the essentials like suncream, wipes etc in - that way people can see there is nothing valuable in it.

I had a thought...what if you set a diaper (that looks full) on top of your non valuable stuff...I'll bet that will keep people from rumaging through!:eek: And if they do take your stuff, then at least you have the satisfaction that they had to throw away or rumage through a questionable diaper!:rotfl: Just a funny thought.
