Favorite rainy day activities?

Since we leave tomorrow and the 10 day weather report is calling for t-storms and rain the whole time, I figured we should have a back-up plan for the days that it is too rainy (or thundering) to go to the parks. What do you like to do?

I don't mind doing parks in the rain, and Epcot (future world) is a good one since there most things are indoors. Of course there is also shopping, Disney Quest, shopping, resting, did I mention shopping ;)

We head for Epcot if it's raining.

Or there's always resort hopping to check out the different Disney resorts. The whole world seems to head for Disney Quest. :eek: Or just stick a poncho on and get on with it - the crowds disappear with the rain. Expect no parades and some show cancellations though, but rides are mostly walk-ons. :thumbs:

I head to the parks! See the shows. Ride the inside rides (unless they close them due to lightening or for some other reason. Or go to Downtown Disney!

JuniorMickey...you're in FL...have you heard any weather reports for the Disney area as to whether the days of constant rain are going to last. Someone was saying this morning (you perhaps) that there were terrible t-storms this morning and expected all day. Is this going to taper out in the next day or 2? (we leave tomorrow!)

I live about 225 miles south of Orlando. What weather they have at the moment may not be the same as what I have. Right now it's overcast for me but not raining (finally stopped)

i think my rainy day plan is just go to the parks and see what happens!!

i spent a lot of money on my tickets - i can't really afford to not go and make the best of it!

on saying that tho, if it's really bad we're lucky enough to have a villa with a gamecube and dvds,etc (or,of course,shopping!)

Whatever you do, don't head to DQ or the cinema. EVERYONE does that! :eek:

We still go to the parks, they're always less crowded but I always take a couple of cheap fold up umbrellas. It's surprising that no matter how hard it's raining, with an umbrella, you feel loads better without the rain beating down on you and we have a great time, no lines for the rides!

We put on our ponchos and carry on in the parks - we try to head for the usually crowded rides, that are less crowded in the rain! Or else go to an indoor show :D

Well you can shop at Downtown Disney, go to Disney Quest, go back to the room and take nap, go eat and well theres lots of stuff to do at Disney when it rains if you cant figure it out just follow the massive corwds lol :)
