What's the weather like in December?

So what is the weather there normally like? Here in Kansas it could range anywhere from 20 below to 60 above. What kind of clothes does a person pack, are the water parks open? If you can give me any clues it would be helpful. The first time we were in Florida (WDW) it was in November 1995 and it was in the 60's & 70's. The 2nd time we went to Tampa in January 2002, it was 20 degrees, now even for us that was cold.

We try and go each December because it's our favourite time but it's always hard to say what Florida weather will do ;-)

I've been there when it's been almost "summer" hot in december, and I've been there when it's been pretty cold :/ but most often, it's been warm in the day and cool at night (ie. not extremes either way).

I guess the best thing is to pack layers of clothing so you can add/remove as required at any time.

This past Christmas week wasn't so great. Christmas day it rained nearly all day. :blink:

As with Keith, I've been when it was in the nineties and then when it was thirty two and the plants froze! :eek:

Truly can be anything. Layers are the way to go.

December is lovely time go for the decorations.....it was chilly some days and warmer on others....
