Are there "extra" costs, other than admission (and other than food & souvenirs, of course) at Disney QUEST?

Most things are included in the admission! Only some arcade games require some charge, just like in the parks.

When we went, I don't remember spending any extra money on attractions... for souvenirs though... thats a different story

Disney Quest is definately a lot of fun though

Be aware that if you make a song or artwork or roller coaster ride, you will have to purchase those results. I can't remember how much all that stuff is, but it adds up quick, as TimonandPumbaa indicates!

How long should should I allow in my itinerary for Disneyquest. I was going to do that the first day besides swimming at the pool since we will be arriving at lunchtime.

within my itinerary i planned a day for disney quest as on my planning dvd it one of the guests they interviewed said he could spend a whole day there - however im not convinced
i planned for a whole day and then if i get bored i can always go into downtown disney but id be much more disappointed if i really did need a day and didnt plan for it and have to leave
better to be safe than sorry

I loved DQ :)

What I really liked was the fact that pretty much everything was included, and where you did have to pay for 'extras', it was very clear
