Hello
It's not too long before we visit WDW again. This year we plan to do a few things that we haven't done before. My daughter is 15 and I wondered if it is worth us visiting Pleasure Island at night (it is a free option on our tickets). We have been there during the day and looked in the stores. But I was wondering if the evening entertainment was suitable. Some of the venues, I believe do have a minimum age for entry. What are the admission charges like?
Also, is there a crazy golf course on WDW, like the pirates one on international drive. DH thinks he saw the sign for one on our last visit, but couldn't remember which park we had been to that day (it was 2 yrs ago). Or are there any other Crazy Golf that may be worth a visit? we have a car so location won't be too much of a problem.
Thanks a lot
Tracy

There are two mini golf courses at WDW. Winter-Summerland and Fantasia.
My first visit to PI I was 12. I went with my Then-19 year old cousin and my father. I had a blast! There are a couple of clubs that are 21-and up only though.

I took my DD last year (she was 13). We only went to the Adventurer's Club and the Comedy Club but we had a blast.

They are also quite strict about checking the ages of some people.
I remember buying Sorceror Mickey a beer outside the Adventurer`s Club last year and they even asked him for his ID! [Bet that made his day]....no offence SM. :rotfl:

Slowhand, you are incorrigible!
My DS loves PI too - he's only been to the Adventurer's Club, but would love to go to the Comedy Club. He is 14. I think it makes him feel older. We go early in the evening.

Hi Tracy,
I was 15 when I first went to Pleasure Island, and my sister was 13. We loved it! We especially loved the club that is decorated with all the surf boards (I can't remember the name of it). My dad and my step mum got to sit and have a nice drink while my sister and I had a great time on the dance floor doing the macarena
I am sure your daughter will have a great time there!

This is good information for me also as my son is 14 this year and I didn't realise that he'd actually enjoy it but looks like from your responses above that he will. We have a free option on our tickets also but is there also an admission charge to various bars and clubs. Does the free ticket only allow us access to PI then do we have to pay for admission to clubs after that? Thanks.

Once you are in, then you don`t have to pay any secondary admission charges.
Here (http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/ddpi.html) is a link from our main site to give you a run down of what`s on offer.

Tracy3 you will have a good time, and if the teens are too young for a certain club they can not get in so it is well watched.
To answer youur second question the 2 mini golf areas are: Winter/sumerland by blizzard beach & The other is Fantasia gardens which is right across rhe street from the swan & dolphin resort ( a short walk from the Boardwalk, Yacht & Beach resaorts
They are all fun, wilder holes at the Winter/Summerland
a longer type course is also at Fantasia Gardens, like a pitch & put course with all Putting allowed
