Unfortunately rain is on the way, all this sunshine this week and the forecasters say it is going to rain all day on Friday... I'm really mad as DW has bought tickets for an open air concert by Madness in Dolby Forest on Friday evening, it's my birthday treat ( even though my birthday was in April ), i hope the forecasters have got it wrong.

I'm not sure what that is in degrees, but I'll take your word for it that it's hot. :D I've never been that much of a sun person either, my perfect days involves rain and clouds. Which is ironic, because I'll be in Florida in July, one of the hottest months. Sheesh

I don't like it now. The paddling pool has sprung a leak, there's a fine layer of play sand covering the whole ground floor of the house, any minute now the neighbour's son will throw open his windows and crank the music up, and the whole place is smeared with sunscreen. And Steven just spilt lemonade on the sofa.

I made the mistake of going to Florida September and it was well into the 30s (over 100oF) :faint: We now make sure that we go December / January time when its a little more bearable for me.

We were in Florida at the end of december / beginning january this year and it was in the low 30's
Two years ago at this time, we were able to go out without jackets but it got cold towards teatime.

I sympathise with you Lisa! I am a dog groomer and where I work the building really heats up in this weather, there is no air con and can't have fans as it'll just blow hair around everywhere, put that together with having to use hairdryers and wear an apron...make sticky work! BUT I have to say I much prefer this to the cold, so I won't moan about it!

It is hotter than hades outside (and humid as all heck to boot) and the women in the office keep the tempature at 85! (we're sharing an office while ours is being completed).... I need a shower when I get home everyday!

not the nicest of places to be when its hot and you have no air con, but i prefer the summer to winter any day of the week, trouble is we dont gear ourselves up for summer or winter, its either too hot or too cold in the work place, its about time all offices had air con :)

Well our office is a little damp to say the least........those thunder-storms on Sunday broke our ceiling through and drenched the carpet....the smell was disgusting
We had to demand :demonstra to be moved.
This, only a week after a glass skylight was broken by a construction worker above our heads  it missed my colleague by inches!
