I am thinking of taking my kids to one of the waterparks. Which waterpark is best, and we will be going March 26 through April 1st. Will this be to cold then?

i like typhoon the best bcos of the wave pool, id say its better for smaller kids and blizzard better for older kids, but i love em both they are both different and always visit both if they are open when we go in oct twice each or one of em 4 times depends if one is closed for rehab :)
take them to both i reckon they will love them both too :D

March - April weather should be like an English (good) summer. We prefer BB overall, due to the larger site and better rides... the family raft ride is stunning here, and only 'ok' at TL (IMO)

I've never been to any of the water parks as each time I've been told they were closed. This year we are going 10th Nov - 17th Nov. Can anybody tell me which ones will be open?

..it's a bit early yet for the hours to be released.. usually a couple of months in advance, but Disney only shut one of their two waterparks at a time, so there should certainly be one available while the other is refurbed...

Thanks for that. We are a group of 10 adults. Which do you think is the best for adults?

We love BB and have only been there but this year because of the new ride at Typhoon Lagoon we will be going there also. Crushin Gusher looks like a great ride.

Wet N Wild is easily the best.

Of the three in Orlando I'd rate them BB, WNW and then TL. Of course Crush n' Gusher could change that. BB goes above WNW simply for the theaming. There is no shade at WNW and man can that concrete get HOT

last year when we went BB was closed for rehab the entire holiday, which included your dates, so if tl is closed bb will be open, you can look on the park hours for your dates but last years to give you an idea :D

Will it be to cold at the end of march to visit a waterpark? We've never been there.

That all depends on what you're used to. If needed the water is heated, but for me, I'd probably still do them at the end of March and I'm a weather-wuss

Has to be Typhoon Lagoon  It is just like paradise with the big sandy bay, the huge waves, lazy river and some thrilling slides thrown in.

i think im gonna go with typhhon lagoon purely because its got the most variety it has relitively fast slides - i say relitively cos u have to comapre to summit plummit - the wave pool gives another option as do the family reft rides - you really should take advantage of the shark tank though that really is a memorable experience and its included in the price!

typhoon lagoon is easily the best, then wet 'n' wild then blizzard beach, i didn't think ,much of blizzard beach at all, i think the only good ride was the summit plummit and not everyone will go on that........ but it depends on what you think your family enjoy :D

We like BB and TL equally and always do both and then one of them a second time each trip. WnW is horrid cos of the concrete and lack of shade - it just isnt in the same league as the Disney pair.
I've been to both in December when it was a bit chilly but we enjoyed it just the same - just be prepared to be flexible about the day you go and keep an eye on the weather forecast to help you decide.

i have been to both TL and WNW enjoyed both as they are both very different parks TL is nicely themed and the wave pool is definetly the best attraction here alot of fun...however Crush n gusher is also an excellent ride, overall TL is quite a relaxing park and im sure at the time of year u want 2 visit the water will probably be heated. WNW is also a good park but there is alot of concrete which gets very warm, however if u are looking for thrill rides this park wins hands down. Disco H2o, Bomb bay, Black hole and the BLast are all excellent as well as there being sum good family raft slides a lazy river (not as nice as TL) and kids area.:)

Personally i would say TL W&W then BB.
If you like Thrill rides etc then Wet and Wild should be your first choice , TL and BB are great in there own right .We prefer TL as a family park though it could do with a big slide to make it even better IMO.

T.L everytime for us..... amazing place.. BB always seems sooo busy and a little dirty in the afternoon. Also the pool and wave machine is sooo much better at T.L

Typhoon Lagoon is great for everybody. The wavepool is excellent and you can go in deep to face the waves or hang back and let the "surf" gently hit against your legs. You can relax on a raft in the lazy river or go snorkeling and see some sharks and sting rays. And of course there is a variety of slides from nice and easy raft slides to the "wedgie" slide which I always avoid for fear of the wedgie.

I read this thread out of interest too and i am no closer at making a decision as to what one to go to! There is no clear winner!
