Hi all!
We're getting so excited already! I'm wondering if anyone knows if you are staying off site if you are allowed to ride the monorail from the TTC to the resorts, or can you only ride the monorail on the days that you are visiting the parks?
Thanks! Sheila

You may ride the monorail to your heart's content.

we spent an excellent day riding the monorail, first stop Grand Floridian, had a coffe in the foyer and look around the hotel/grounds, visited the Weding Chapel no one around so had a sneeky look, took some photos excellent! showed our passports and hired 2 speed boats ( mousekateers?) and sped around the lagoon ( as we were first to ride that morning and my son rung the bell to indicate it was open we were not charged for our boats!!!! how good is that!, back on monorail to poly, had a look around and hired a 4 seater bike and drove like crazy round the resort, then back on monorail to Contempory again had a look around inside did a spot of shopping, my son traded a pin with a manager and recieved a free lanyard pin..how cool!! had a look around grounds and finally to monorail round full circut back to ttc! this was the best ever disney non park day...we stayed off site but this year i'm so impressed were staying on site!

Gosh this sounds so great, do you always need your passports to hire the boats? I had not thought of that, what time were you there to ring the bell? DD would love that. What age are kids allowed to ride the boats? Sorry about so many questions just sounds so good :)

Any type of photo ID would be OK, unless you are a resort guest, in which case your room/charge card would suffice.
