8 days of rain??

I just saw the weather for the next eight days in Florida which i will be there, and there is a chance of thunderstorms each day!!! I just wanted to know if these thunderstorms last very long and if it will effect our stay??

That's typical Florida summer weather. It's usually not like New England where when you get rain it's an all day for a couple of days thing. Most (and I say most because we had a June that does not follow the norm) thunder storms only last an hour or two and occur in the late afternoon (anywhere from 2-5 p.m. is the norm)

Thanx!!! that makes me feel a lot better. Up here in New England we d tend to get "all day rains". And im glad that down there they really dont. :thumbs:

You are aware of the hurricane out there aren't you? You might want to keep an eye on that.

The rain is usually not like that good old New England stuff. I remember it no-so-fondly.

I'm sorry to hear about the recent rainfall in FL. Perhaps, the rain will be gone at the end of August except for maybe a hurricane . :shrug: :afraid: I told my g-friend it would be cool to see as long as it was just the high winds and rain and Not full blast, she said I was Nuts . :hehe:
