I have been to Orlando twice in October and once in May.
All three times the weather was superb, not a single rain cloud.
This time we were forced to go in July-August as my brother is at school and my dad is now a college tutor and both could not take term time holidays.:(
I'm really worried it'll be raining and stormy with hurricanes the whole 3 weeks.
Can anyone give me any info on general weather for this time of year?
I am so looking forward to my holiday and am getting worried it will be ruined, especially after hurricane Dennis.
Thanks!

Rainy and gloomy with overcast skies right now. :( Been lousy weather for way too long, only a few days of sunshine. :sigh:

Looks like it's better weather here, in London  ...it's really hot today!
Just my luck...still let's hope it clears by next week......

Oh it's hot. The rain and clouds do not change the high temps and humidity. They just make it bleak and hot. Sorry, but I really need sunshine. :sigh:

Florida's weather this year has been anything but typical. :sigh: far too much of the clouds and rain

My feelings are the same b4by99, that I'll have a good time in spite of the weather. I've a little relative visiting and we check into OKW tomorrow, so rain or no, we're having a Disney holiday! Can't stop us, eh? :ears:

I'm off in a couple of weeks and the weather concerns me too...I know this sounds stupid...BUT...Does the forecast of Scattered Thunder storms...mean there will be thunder storms at various times throughout the day, like quite a few, or one or two...Also, although it remains hot, do you still need sun protection???
