Typical Weather First Week of October

Our first day at Disney will be October 1. Any idea what kind of weather we might have?

Who knows. Its almost pot luck now. Its only 19th july and there has been 5 named storms already. Never been heard of since records began. Unfortunatly the forcasters think there will be a record number of hurricaines this year and by the law of averages some will hit florida. I just hope they are wrong and none hit anywhere.

Aside from the current very active hurricane season :rolleyes: , October is usually a good month as far as weather. The "summer rain season" goes from May through August, so rainy days are uncommon.

Average high temps are in the mid-80s and average lows are in the mid-60s.

We have gone in October several times and found the weather to be warm in the day although some days it was quite warm ..... well it was hot :D we had a rare rain shower and when we did it was quick. The evenings were plesent I did not need a sweater (ofcourse I am always hot so unless there is snow on the ground I never wear sweaters) but I did have lightweight little jackets for the kids when we went to DTD.

When I went with miraclemoments in October03', the weather was gorgeous . It was toward the end of October, though .
