*creeps into scary craft forum*
Can anyone give me a rough idea please of how much the scrapbooking kits are at Disney? I mean the sort of kit that has some patterned paper, plain paper, sticker sheet, frames, shapes and border stickers, all to a specific theme. Oh and it's the 12 x 12 size I'm interested in.

Iona......I think that's a good price.......was that for a 12 inch book?

Yes (although the book I bought to go with the kits was $32 so it didn't work out quite so cheap...). It still seems to be much better value than anything available over here though.
I've been back nearly two weeks now and am half way through my first page - I think this may take a while!

:rotfl: listen to you Isafari you sound like a pro :rotfl: only kidding mate
I have bought some things over the net from some web sites which have all come and been wonderful. Ive stayed below the customs rate of £18 though. I havent bought a 12 x 12 album yet as thats top on my list for holiday purchases

if you don't want to buy the actual book, just the kit you can do what i did, hole punch holes on the left and side, then tie it neatly with some colourfull ribbon, or even coloured string! the kits are very good with the stickers etc, also i bought some mettalic glue pens, the where £2.49 from tesco and a coloured glue stick, so you can see where you have glued(although it drys clear)

Thanks eveyone,
I've been inspired by what I've seen on this thread and at the suggested thread links here.:rotfl:
I did some very amauter scapbooks of my Disneyland Paris trips in 79p scapbooks by keeping all my free leaflets, tickets, napkins, programs, park maps etc...and adding relavent digital photos and some basic writing with a black marker pen. I enjoyed doing them and they give me great pleasure:) to look back at (my 2 daugters get them out once a week too) but they do look very basic and buget comparred to the photos of scapbooks I have seen tonite.:wiggle:
It has inspirred me to look out specific scrapbooking materials and kits in DTD as well as the freebee things when I visit Florida for the first time this Nov.
I just can't wait my timer says it will be time to go, although it is nearly time to do PS so that means I'm a little closer to the magic.
Thanks again for the wonderfull ideas
Tracey
