Old School Disney

I was inspired to pose this poll by the posting of Irish-Tink along with pictures by Dawn and the responses of UOGers. Which defunct ride/attraction from WDW do you miss the most? In my searching for a site I found a few months ago but lost (darn bookmarks) I found a lot of sites dealing with old rides and attractions. Some miss the old rides so much that they have developed "Virtual" rides from Disney plans (see my post on Mr. Toads Wild Ride). Vote for you favorite old ride. How about sharing your recollections of the ride or an interesting story or fact abou the attraction. If you need a refresher on the rides you can try this site:

TBH...I remember a few, just wasn't sure about the names..most remember Figment ..but don't necessarily remember Magic Journey as the name of the ride..it became Journey to Imagination...It helped me to visit the waltdatedworld site.

I loved the old Figment but I had to go with Mr. Toad. Toad rules, Pooh drools

That was some strange ride wasn't it? You ended up in h - e - double hockey sticks!! Watch out for the pitch forks!!

I voted for The Skyway . Even though I was at WDW in 1976, I don't remember Mr Toad . Wish I had been able to go on it before they changed it to Pooh . Sounds like it was fun ! :D

It was a toss up for me between 2000 leagues and Mr. Toad's. I just have so many good memories of Mr. Toad's and I was freaking out when I couldn't find it after it was gone. I thought I had gone crazy or getting confused with Disneyland. I just wish H2B could have ridden both of them with me!

I really did used to LOVE the old Journey Into Imagination ride. In the days of the Dreamfinder!
