Transportation from All-Star Music to Fort Wilderness

We'll be going to Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Fort Wilderness. Does anyone know how we would get from All-Star Music to Fort Wilderness and how long would it take? I thought I read you could take a boat...would it be any boat?? Thanks.

I'd say bus from all-stars to the magic kingdom, then get the boat from MK across to fort wilderness.

You could wait anything upto 30mins for a bus (usually less than 15), then 20mins to mk so thats 50 so far (to be safe). Then walk to the boat, 5mins (prob less) and potentially another 30mins wait followed by 15mins across.

I'd say you'd be looking to leave an hour and a half before you need to get there or 2 hours if you want to relax. If you get there early you could always have a look around before the bbq. Better to be early than panicky and late :)
