All-Star Music to Boardwalk

Can anyone tell me how I would get from All-Star Music to the Boardwalk? Never used Disney transportation before and am a little concerned. One other question -- when you are waiting for bus transportation, are the waiting areas covered in case of rain or are you waiting in the open??? Thanks.

What time of day do you want to do this? If you do it when MGM is open you could take the bus to MGM and then the boat launch to Boardwalk. Otherwise you would have to go to any other open park and take the bus or go to the TTC or DTD and catch a bus.
