Does anyone know what the weather/hurricane forecast is over the next few weeks?

Tropical Storm Gert is next to watch out for but its too early to tell where it will hit or even if it will turn worse.

Gert was way out West in the Gulf of Mexico and has now travelled over Mexico and broken up. Franklin has headed way North over the Atlantic and has passed Bermuda, so no threat to mainland US.

I hope no huricanes are coming soon i've been watching up on them too we are leaving for Gulf Shores next weekend, my boss at work has been watching too she is going to Florida this Saturday, so we keep asking each other everyday heard any hurricane news yet, lol

I live near Gulf Shores Alabama, and even if a hurricane is not on the way you will definately see a lot of damage left over from Hurricaine Ivan last year, it is still a mess down there! Don't miss Sea N' Suds restaurant! The crab claws are great! Have a great time, take some pictures of all the damage and you will amaze your friends at home!

Tropical storm Irene is heading for the US east coast (perhaps this weekend). Lots of uncertainty. But it is almost certain to hit near Virginia as I am having my vacation this week..We will be having a vacation inland at Smith Mountain Lake but that could give us a really rainy..and EXPENSIVE week of vaction.

Check in at http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ it is the national hurricane centre site.

I check it everyday for some reason.
