car or bus???

My family is driving down to WDW for the first time. We always fly but this time we are trying to save a little money and decided to try driving. My question is this. We are eating at a few different resorts. Is it easier to just drive there? I know taking the bus from resort to resort is very time consuming. Also does anybody drive to the water parks? If you have a car and your eating at another resort - drive. You'll be glad you did :)

I always drive up and I drive to the parks as well. I like the flexability of having my car there

I drive everywhere, it's sooooo much easier IMO.

The only downside being that the driver must remain tee total. However this is much better than the prospect of spending ages waiting for and changing buses getting from one resort to another where there is no monorail connection IMHO. [eg GF to Poly or Contemp.]

we drive everywhere as we stay offsite always, and yes we drive to the wp's also

we did hop by bus once but usually hop between the monorail parks only now

Thanks everyone. Just what I thought. When we were there in April, we'd have to wake our little ones from a nap just so that we'd have enough time to get to another resort. They need all the sleep they can get at WDW :wink: Is there any rules about parking at the monorail resorts? Most of our resort dining is at the 3 on the monorail line. Thanks again!

Do you drive to the MK as well? That seems like a headache having to go through TTC.

I drive to all the parks. I like riding the monorail :)

If you have a PS you'll be able to park at the monorail resorts but it will be a timed parking pass

Just to clarify...you cannot drive to the MK. You have to get there either via the TTC or monorail/bus/ferry.

Right. That's why I put that having to go through TCC seems like a headache. Thanks :)
