Disney's Airport Bus service

Hi!

Has anyone used Disney's new bus transporatation from the airport to the hotel and back again? I was wondering how long it takes? Are you spending most of your time on the bus and waiting? How long does it take to get to the parks and how many hours in advance do they want you to leave the hotel when going home?

We used it two weeks ago. It was exactly 1.5 hours for us to get off the plane, find bathroom, wander around on the wrong floor, check in and argue with the DME staff that I was not a man, and wait in line for the bus. We were the first stop off the bus (we were at Pop - the bus waited there about 5 minutes before taking off to three more resorts)

On the way back, our party was asked to be at the resort no later than 5PM for an 8PM flight, with luggage collected and waiting to go. My friend (I did not take it back) said the bus was there, and left promptly at 5:05PM

Even though it was fairly easy, I'm thoroughly spoiled by either car rentals and private limo service, and I most likely will only take the DME in very rare instances. The drive is only 1/2 hour, and I love that grocery stop on the way in.

Thanks for the info. It doesn't sound that bad, maybe we'll try it. I am spoiled too though, we always rent a car.
