Valiant - Interesting things about this movie

First, I'm really looking forward to this movie, it looks very funny and feels like a Disney movie.

It has the voices of Ewan McGregor, Tim Curry, John Cleese and others, I think it's going to look like an animated version of a Monty Python's movie :lol: .

But, I was just watching TV and part of the advertisement's hook is:

"From the producers of Shrek and Shrek II"

:eek: What? I guess nowadays, anything to get people to the movie theaters :rolleyes: .

Also, this movie is not done by Disney's new CG Animation Studio but by Vanguard Animation, same kind of deal as with Pixar. The movie is done by an outside movie studio and Disney takes care of the marketing and distribution.

But this is what is interesting...

They do look remarkably similar... :shrug:

Have to admit that I was really disappointed with Valiant, it was ok just nowhere near as good as I'd hoped. DBF hated it :(

I think they're trying to pull some wool over our eyes. How can those two websites look so close??

I didn't know Disney had anything to do with Valiant. I quite enjoyed it although I don't think it really lived up to my expectations. I absolutely loved Shrek and Shrek 2 and the way they referred to those films in their advertising made me think it would be as good, but I didn't think it's in the same league.

i think they shouldn't be referring to the "from the makers of Shrek and Shrek 2" anymore because they did that, and the latest movies of their bombed.

Anyway, Wahoo! I can't wait for this film, specially John Clease :D
