From the way it read, it looks like you can't get them anywhere BUT WDW. Kind of defeats the purpose if you ask me.

Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup (serves 6)

Ingredients:
1/4 lb. smoked bacon, finely chopped
1 medium red onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup finely sliced celery
1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
3 tablespoons all purpose flour
3 cups whole milk
2 cups chicken stock
12 oz. grated white cheddar cheese
3 dashes Tabasco sauce
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup beer, room temp.
Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
1 tablespoon thinly sliced chives

Directions:
1. Cook the bacon in a large heavy bottom, non reactive soup pot over medium heat until wilted, not browned.
2. Add onion, celery and carrots. Cook until onions are translucent and bacon has crisped.
3. Sprinkle in flour and stir constantly for 2 minutes. Stir in milk and stock, a little at a time, blending well to ensure there are no lumps. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and whisk in cheese, tabasco sauce, worcestshire sauce and beer. Season with salt and pepper to taste
5. Sprinkle with chives and serve.

Your welcome :)

I was going to try this but I have NO idea what a heavy bottom, non reactive soup pot is. I'm pretty certain I don't have one

I was going to try this too but I couldn't find the bit where it said "pierce the bag, place in the microwave for 8 minutes, stand for 1, eat"

So now I'm just stumped

I'm going to make it tomorrow. If you can get smelly vision by then, I'll waft it your way.
If you haven't got a heavy bottom saucepan Johnnie, just keep stirring it. Cheese is prone to 'catching' and burning if left.
