O'Hana menu changes

This is all second hand knowledge. I'll be there next week and let you know for sure.

Apparently, the green beans have been replaced with mixed veggies. They also got rid of the fried rice and replaced them with scalloped potatoes (now I love potatoes and cheese but does that fit with Polynesian dining?)

Also there are rumors that O'Hana will be more upscale by next year. No lazy susans to hold the dishes, instead real china. And there is talk of no more shrimp wontons!!!!!!!! :sigh: I wish people would leave well enough alone.

We were there a few weeks ago and the food definitely needed changing to suit my taste. Thought it was fairly poor all round. Good thing was the view of the fireworks but it didn't really take my mind off the food.

Hmmmmm...I love their food...have enjoyed it each time I visited, but I guess different strokes for different folks...

Don't mind seeing the green beans go, but I wonder...will I need a bigger gift bag for the mixed veggies? :wink:

I love the food at O'Hana and have never had a bad meal. I don't care for the green beans as they were the crispy French cut style bleh.

mixed veggies :sick: I will steer clear of Ohanas I detest mixed veggies my mom mde them all the time and the left overs she made into soup the next day! Scalloped potatoes that is not very polyenisian rice would seem to be a better chioce. No shrimp wontons oh I had heard they were so yummy!!

Gift bag...well....if you ever find yourself surrounded by unsightly green beans...just hope that you have good friends around you as well...one to give you a very beautiful gift and another to scoop the unwanted green beans into the gift bag and dispose of them in the ladies room before Cousin So and So at the Prime Time Cafe can return to your table and spoon feed them to you a la the airplane method....zooooooooooooooooooooooom....
