CRT ADR yahoooooo

oh my goodness!!! I finally found a CRT breakfast ADR for the last day of our vacation what a way to end a WDW trip!!!!! I have been calling several times a day for the past 3 weeks!! FOr those of you who are wanting a CRT just keep trying cancellations do happen!!!! I was able to change our chef mickey ADR around which is what I had for our last day!! Someone must have sprinkled some pixie dust on my phone :D

I was so excited that when I hung up I reliezed I was not sure what day we were going since I had her check the whole 8 days we are there :rotfl: I had to call back and ask what day :whistle: We are going on Friday Oct 7th this is our last day so it will be up early, load the truck, go to MK at 8am ride a few rides our ADR is at 9:50 then we will have to leave ..... maybe just one or two rides after CRT :D

I think the poor CM might be in need of some hearing repair :blush: as I always do when I call ..... the several times a day I call ...... I go into my whole life :lol: how I am hoping for a cancellation but we have a lunch seating at CRT so we are happy even if we dont get a breakfast blah blah blah - conversation helps pass the time that they are checking each day so when she said she had seating I was like :excited: we'll take it we'll take it then went into the "oh my gosh I can't belive it I have been calling for weeks" yada yada yada I unloaded my whole life on the poor thing ..... she was very friendly but I am sure what she really wanted to say was :stop: no more please stop talking :whistle: what who me!!

Your post has given me hope to continue trying to get CRT as yet again yesterday my husband and I both were on hold for 15- 20 mins. We had phoned again as soon as lines opened only to find for the 5th time CRT to be fully booked on our 90 day time.

keep trying tracey!! People do cancel and it is really just a matter of luck. If you don't get the ADR before you leave call each day that you are there and be ready to zip over if they say they have a seating. I am not sure if they still do this but some friends of our said they just went to the podium and asked if they had any openings, that was several years ago so things may have changed?? If you are staying onsite you can book out past the 90 day mark, into 10 days of you holiday. Did you try to get into Epcot storybook breakfast, I have never been but have heard it is quite nice. How about the CRT lunch, the menu looks rather tasty and the princesses do come around maybe book this and if you get into the breakfast you can always cancel the lunch seating. I'll be sending some pixie dust your way!

again I tried this am to get PS for CRT breakfast only to find them sold out after 10 mins but I was lucky enough today to be offered CRT :wink: lunch instaid so I have taken this option. If by some mirracle I get a breakfast cancellation I will cancel lunch or, if they are different days I will do both lunch and Breakfast!!! If thats not too greedy.
Funny thing is my husband had the same idea at work and could not
get breakfast but also got lunch so I've just cancelled one of the lunches. Like a bus never one when you need one but 2 come along at the same time.

Has anyone on the forum done this character lunch this summer and is it really any different to the breakfast? I assume you get longer in the castle as it is a longer meal so do you see the characters for longer?
My daughters whom I booked it for really are 2 and 4 so the time of eating (if they eat anything) will be uninportant to them. Seeing the princesses however will be the icing on the cake.

:thumbs: Yeah glad you got the lunch seatings!! The menu is here on the site and looks quite tasty. If you can get breakfast and lunch I say do both!! We have a breakfast and lunch seating there. I have only done the breakfast once and the princesses did not linger but we did not feel rushed either ... although it was quite loud maybe lunch will be a bit more calm??

I would keep calling for the breakfast!! My kids do better with breakfast foods we have 5 breakfasts booked - plus get them up and going!! Hopefully after eating a week at WDW when we get in our van the tires will not deflate from the extra pounds :unsure:

OCD big time here when dealing with anything disney :lol: Dh keeps telling me they probably log our calls and the CM can see how many times I call :rolleyes: but I dont think I have ever gotten the same CM more than one maybe they see it is me and hand the call off to a new CM :wink:

They will all be thanking me when they get to eat at the places they chose and do all the extras I have managed to get ..... my countdown timer is getting close the excitement is building!!! I have the kids clothes sorted out although I have not packed yet - I am not that far over the edge of insanity yet :rotfl: I did find them matching shirts on clearence off the disney site and DH just shakes his head and is afraid to open the VISA bill :rolleyes:

So what meals did you end up planning (I know we were ADR stalking each other there for awhile until I saw free dining and rescheduled)
