Crowds right now

We are heading to Orlando this weekend and staying off property (for only the second time ever!) but plan to only go to MK one day. We will be there Friday - Tuesday and I am assuming our best bet is to go on Monday. With FLA schools in session, am I right? Or does it make no difference at this time of year?

I was at MGM yesterday around 11 am. TOT was a 40 minute wait, RnRC was 35 minutes. At 11, I got a FP for TOT good at 11:55. that's all I did because I had to drive home for a doctor appt.

Is that how the crowds are usually in August? I sure hope we are not swamped with hungry eaters at the end of september first week in october! Fla. schools are not back in session yet are they?

Broward County (where I live) went back on the 8th. Miami-Dade county went back the same day, Palm Beach County went back on the 10th. The majority of schools will be back by next week in the state.

I've always had very good luck with crowds in September. Average waits of 10-15 minutes.
