I am sure that if I search I could find the answer to these questions.
1. How do you know when and where the parades are ?? Does each park have them every day or what ???

2. What about the fireworks when and where are they ???

Is there a site to find this out ??? I have searched and can't find anything as of yet.

Also, we are going for 5 days 4 night with park hopper and free dining. What parks should we plan on spending the most time at with 2 boys 4 and 7. I have heard that Epcot and Animal Kingdom are only half day parks.

We will be there mid Sept Sun - Thursday.

Thanks, for everyones help !!! :p

Did you scroll to the top of your screen and click on Parks and Attractions (http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/parks.html)? Some of the info can be found there. Disney's own website also has fireworks and parade info.

Magic Kingdom and Epcot are 2-day parks for me and MGM and AK a day each. I'm going to be bring a newbie to disney and we'll only have three days so I'll do a MK day, an Epcot day and split a day between MGM and AK.

Also, click here Park Hours (http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/hours.html) to find out times for fireworks and parades.

in response to 1/2 day at Ak, when we were there last year all we heard was 1/2 day is enough at Ak but when you get there, you realise that its a full day,

alot of people are put off with Ak as there arn't as many rides there but at the end of the day, its a safari park and not a roller coaster park but i and all the family loved it.

As has been mentioned before, check the park hours and parade and fireworks schedule. Still, when you actually arrive at the park, you can get a program for that day in particular, that way you can be sure that you wont miss anything.

Parks with Fireworks:
Magic Kingdom: Wishes, you can view them from anywhere in the park, but are viewed best in front of the castle or on Main Street.
Epcot: Illuminations, anywhere around the Lagoon
MGM: Fantasmic, these take place inside the Fantasmic theater, so you have to arrive early and grab some seats.

Parks with Parades:
Magic Kingdom
Animal Kingdom
MGM
I believe the parade routes are traced on the park maps... but I could be wrong.

About how much time to spend on each park. My uncle visited last month with a 7 and a 5 year old. They spent most of their time in Magic Kingdom, since most rides are kid oriented.
They also really enjoyed walking around Epcot, and would try to go there for either lunch or dinner daily (it is great value, especially if you get the dining plan). The kids had lots of fun at the Kidcot stations.
MGM is more a show park, and the attractions are more adult oriented, still, if your kids like shows, you might spend the whole day in there!
Animal Kindgom...rides, shows, animals... again, it depends on what your kids like, and how much time you take to watch the animals, and also ho wmany shows you are interested in watching.

I would suggest if you dont have much time to spend half day (morning) at AK and rest evening at mgm then u get to see fantasmic show which is one of those must see attractions!

I think thats really good advice. Especially since AK closes earlier than the rest of the parks. I think it closes at 5pm
