MyTravel Preflight number at Sanford Airport

Does anyone have the preflight number for Mytravel among their paperwork. My DH has held on to this nmber since it was Airtours but has misplaced it. It is the number you ring on the morning of your flight home to check whether there is any delay.

Hi Katie,

I've just spent some time lookin through my mytravel docs for the number but to no avail! Sorry.

I do remember that the way I got it was to ring the airport and get put through to the mytravel desk. They told me everything I needed to know (or not*), then gave me the direct number in case I wanted to check again!

* they told me that I should just turn up at the airport even tho the Orlando airports had been closed due to hurricanes, so I did, I drove for 45 minutes, got there and was told I'd have to go speak to my travel agents. grrrrr. rant over. :D

Thanks for the info. When I rang Mytravel, they said the number would be with my info pack when I get the tickets.

I'm flying with My Travel too and in the booklet i have it says to confirm your flight only departure call this number 48 hrs before. This is applicable to me but are you flight only or on a package? Hope this helps!!!

Thanks Thumper. I actually got my tickets today (flight only) and got the number which you have kindly put here for me. The pre-flight number I am meaning is a number which I have had for years since the whole company called itself Airtours and not MyTravel. When you ring the number I'm talking about, there is a pre-recorded message telling of any delays on the morning of your flight, so that if there is a delay, you have been forewarned before you get to the airport. It doesn't really matter and I'm sure I'll find the number among my old paperwork eventually. I just like to be prepared for all eventualities. I think I must have been a girl guide in a past life!!
