We'll hopefully :fingers: be going to WDW for the last week in October and the first week in November. One thing i'm particularly looking forward to is the Food and Wine festival at Epcot.

I was just wondering if you have to get an extra ticket for this? I'm going to have the Disney Ultimate 14 day pass but i'm not sure whether i need to pay extra on top of that everytime i want to go to Epcot or whether i only pay extra once then get a wristband or something for the day. In fact the only thing i know about this festival is that its got food and wine so any information on it would be great!

It's included with your park admission to Epcot. The little food and wine samples cost extra, but the atmosphere, the scents, sights, and sounds, are all free! :D

Joanne has an excellent section on this year's F&W here: http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/foodwine.html

Your ticket into Epcot gets you into the Food and Wine Festival. Stroll around the World Showcase and purchase samples of tasty goodies and libations in each country! There are demonstrations, seminars, and special events. Some of those special events require a special ticket that you must purchase.

The last time we attended, we allotted two days to munch and sip our way around the World. Not enough! This year we hope to have 3 days!!

I think if I tried to sip my way around I probably wouldn't find my way out. :blush2:

That's why we are staying at the Boardwalk Inn... If we can make it to the International Gateway, we can stumble back to our resort!

This is easily one of my favorite times to visit WDW. Most of our time on this trip will be spent at EPCOT noshing and tippling.

You'll love it, Madeye :)
Be sure to sample many things, a lot of the time you'll be very pleasantly surprised.
The atmosphere is good, too.

Can't wait for this, especially after seeing OKWTink's pictures last year - we haven't planned anywhere for dinner on our Epcot day so we can sample lots of different things:D
