Which hotel are you staying at? First of all I would check if your hotel provides a shuttle (from the Quality Inn International ours cost $12 per person per round trip) as this might be the most convenient way for you. If not, you can get off the I Ride trolley at Sea World and literally walk across the road to a Lynx stop that goes to Disney from there. Not sure about prices or bus numbers, I'm sure someone does though...

Welcome to the boards by the way!

Yeah we stayed in Quality Inn International and used their shuttle service to the Disney parks, they also have a Universal shuttle too.
The bus that jenna mentioned...i'm not too sure of the number but the last time i used it the price was $1.00 each way. Make sure you check the times though of the last bus back to your hotel as occasionally the last bus leaves before some of the parks close...and also from what i remember they dont drop off at all the parks either, but i havent used that bus service for a couple of years as the shuttle services are a lot less hassle so things may have changed.
Hope that helps...:)

Depends what hotel you're at, even if you're not staying at one with a pick-up, you should be able to go along and pay $12 each.

Oh my goodness, depending on how many people are in your group $12.00 one way/person could really add up. That seems awfully expensive for a hotel shuttle. I think I would be more tempted to take Lynx to DTD and get Disney Transport. At least it is cheaper.

that shuttle price is not far off hiring a car for two weeks

would a car not be more flexible for you or are you non drivers?

might be the best option what uscwest mentioned, if you are non drivers :D

sorry i cant help more :(

Well, i am staying at Best Western Movieland - I would hire a car but i am not 21 until October so i am not old enough to hire a car. I have heard little things about the Lynx bus service but i dont know if i want to get 2 buses almost everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

They have a shuttle from there I believe, $12 return per person. I Trolley will be cheaper but you won't get to Disney until well after it opens and it will be packed.

I was going to say depending on how many people you're going with perhaps a taxi might work out cheaper?

I have to admit that next time we go to Orlando we are definitely hiring a car, we didn't do it this time because of cost (both of us being under 25) and although we managed to get around ok without one, we wouldn't want to do it that way again. Been there, done that!

Well there is only the 2 of us and were only 20 so although we can drive were not old enough to hire a car, i think im going to have to get the I Trolley and the Lynx service.

I no this might sound silly but what is the shuttle service - is that direct service to disney parks or.........

:hehe: :wiggle:

Check with your hotel, if it has a free shuttle service then you'll be fine, the bus from the Hotel will take you to the Epcot transport centre next to Disneys Epcot Geodisic Ball, from there you can take any of the free Disney Buses, Monorail or Riverboat to any of the Disney Parks, the Riverboat or Paddle Steamer or Monorail will take you to the Magic Kingdom and back to the Epcot centre, the Bus will take you to Animal Kingdom and Blizzard Beach and back but check the times.

Leave your Hotel early and enjoy the adventure.

As for Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Wet and Wild, Seaworld etc, well there close to International Drive so getting to them should'nt be a big problem and Taxi's are really cheap compared to the U.K and of course the Iride system is cheap and regular.

My family and I stopped at the Hawthorne Suites in Lake Buena Vista in 2003, and they had a free shuttle service, and although I can drive and hire, I don't when I'm on holiday, as I have to drive everyday to and from work, so when I'm on holiday I let others do it.

You'll have a GREAT time, nice and easy, don't rush, take off your adult head and be a child again, it's a wonderfully magical place, just enjoy!!!

Our shuttle from the Rodeway dropped off at all 4 parks for $12 return per person. It took a while but was far more relaxing than getting the I Trolley, then 2 buses!

Im new to this thing we call message board also. But any who, I have Dinner Reservations at the Aloha thing which means I have to leave the park and go to the Polyneseian, How hard is it to get there on the shuttle when Im staying at Allstars or in another park. After being at the park all day we will need showers before we go set next to other people:wink:

If you're going to the Poly from the All-Stars I'd take the bus to MK and go up to the resort Monorail (this is assuming that MK is still open)
