Has anybody stayed at either the Europa or Ibis hotels? Any opinions?
I'm having such fun trying to get a room for 5
These 2 seem to have reasonable prices and availability but i would like to hear people's experiences first if poss!

My sister, husband and 3 children (which makes 5!) are staying at a hotel near Gatwick - I think it's called the Moat House. It was booked through www.holidayextras.co.uk and i think it was quite a reasonable price! :D

I have stayed in the Europa. It was a very nice hotel and cost us about £60 in 2001. There was no breakfast though. Last year we stayed in the Southbourne guesthouse .(on recommendation) We were collected by the owner from Gatwick after we had done the twilight check in and the next morning they arranged a taxi back to the airport - that cost about £4. We will be staying ther again this year. We loved staying there.

The best deals thru holiday extras were all over £160 - our Jet2 flights from Manchester down to Gatwick are only £125 total so I'm hoping to do a bit of penny-pinching for the overnight stay.
