Hi all, i know there is a similar thread further down the page but i am not staying in a hotel and need to know where you have to goto change up travellers cheques. I am staying in a villa.
We will probably have quite high amounts of travellers cheques so is there anywhere in particular you should go to change these?
Thanks, :)

hiya bec
you can change them everywhere, i have not come across anywhere that does not. you dont have to stay in a hotel to use them :D
just use the larger ones for the more expensive purchases just the same you would if it was cash, hope this helps :D

Hi
any restaurant / shop /garage , in fact most anywhere ,
they are treated as cash . So a $20 travellers cheque is the same as $20 bill.

Just remember though that some places may need to see some form of photo ID.
Your driving licence will suffice to save you taking your passport with you.
