............its taking about 10-15 secs to load a page or reply to threads to appear...........k not a long time but seems dead slow on broadband

It's fine on my 2meg Metronet connection, not slow at all! Maybe it's your ISP?

Let's see if other people are struggling. :)

It's weird... different people seem to have the problem at diff times. The server isn't loaded/slow or anything nope.

Something to try, quick links, mark forums read. That'll clear out the database of what threads you haven't read and may have an impact.

will try that thanks keith, was on the pub network before, now home on mine and still seems the same, will try as you said and let you know :thumbs:

k marked all forums as read, and cleared me cookies.........still slower than normal and still the same problem loging in as i pm'd u

Can you do me a tracert www.wdisneyw.com and paste the results here?

I don't think it's a network issue but may as well have all the ducks in a row before I moan at the developers again... and again :)

ok that comes up ok, but after i cleared my cookies and marked the forum read i had a pm which just came up with [quote] redkop

nothing else there, untill i clicked on quote and then the persons message was there

truly weird stuff...

I meant could you call up a dos prompt and type:
tracert www.wdisneyw.com

into it and past the output into here though... it'd be handy to see how the network is doing between you and the forums

mine is virtually instant on a 1meg connection
